Parenting bliss!

NO, THIS IS NOT CHOCOLATE PUDDING!!!!
We boldly had to go where no one but parents have been before!  Yes, this was the mother of all diaper changes!!!  If you think this looks bad, imagine the smell?!  Jordan came running up the stairs yelling, "I"M GOING TO NEED BACK UP!"  Boy, was he right!  Isn't parenting wonderful!  Odd time to grab the camera, but I will cherish these pictures always!  I will take them out during Parker's teenage years and tell him, "See! This is what your mom and dad have done for you!"
How could he be smiling at a time like this?!!!
And the award for the most courageous diaper change in all of history goes tooooo......Jordan and Amanda!!!!!!!

Ski day!

A day of no work is a day to ski!!  Hooray for Presidents day!  This last monday was one of our few days we have had to enjoy the slopes.  Thank you to grandma for living close so we had someone to watch Parker.  It was the most beautiful day! Tons of snow, the sun was shining, relatively warm, no wind, and not too much of a crowd since we went to Alta were boarders aren't allowed.  It was just about the perfect ski day until we had decided we would just do one more run and halfway down the mountain, Jordan broke his binding!  This happened on a pretty steep slope with tons of moguls, so it was kind of hard for Jordan to ski down the rest of the mountain with just one ski!  Jordan's luck, eh?  Still, any ski day where Jordan doesn't get hurt is a good one! Check out our videos!
Jordan's big air...
Amanda's weak sauce air... Don't Laugh!!

Let it snow!

Ok, so if it is going to snow, I say keep on snowing so we can at least have some fun with it!  A couple of weeks ago when we got that huge snow storm, we decided to spend our family night  making a snow fort!  It was perfect packing snow and there was tons of it!  The only problem was that we didn't get started on it until about 9pm.  We wanted to work on it all night, but Jordan's parents (we built it at their house) wouldn't have been too happy about that.  So we had to end it with a little less than perfect snow cave, but still ended up being the most awesome snow cave ever!! It was about 15 feet deep and maybe 4 feet wide.  Ethan ended up sleeping in it that night!  Crazy, boy!

This was how it started out......

And this was the final product!

Fun in the Pool!

Two weekends ago, we decided to take a trip down to Saint George for some relaxation.  We took my mom with us and visited Aubrey, Wes, and Kylee.  It was a needed vacation!  Golf, no house cleaning, and 50 degree weather!  We took Parker to the pool for his first swimming lesson!  He wasn't quite sure what to think about it.  We probably spent about an hour in the pool and he didn't really smile or whine at all.  So, we think he liked it, he just had to get use to it.

This video is of Parker watching Jordan and Zach throw like 5 balls in the air at a time and he just thought it was hilarious.  He was just giggling and giggling.  Way cute! (Sorry if it makes you get motion sickness! I'm not very good with a camera!)

I just had to add this picture also.  I am a dental hygienist and there is hardly anything I like better than brushing teeth!  Parker just loves it when I brush his teeth. He gets so excited when he even sees his toothbrush. I have trained him well.  We'll have to get him a Sonicare when he gets more teeth!! : -)

Not Even!!

Ross Perot?! Not even!
A couple of weeks ago at McKade's wedding Jordan's uncle, Mark LeBaron, said that Parker looked liked Ross Perot.  I totally disagreed, but when we got home, Jordan downloaded a picture of Ross Perot to compare with Parker and he agreed with him!  I say no similarity at all! What do you think?

...Maybe it's the ears???
